Arthritis can cause pain, stiffness, swelling, and reduced movement in the many joints of your feet and ankles. Common types include osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Treatment focuses on relieving pain and protecting joint function through supportive footwear, orthotics, medication, and sometimes injections.
